HEAT PROTECTION

PAVATEX protects from the heat in summer
While winter time means having to deal with the cold, this changes in the summer when people want to find remedies against the heat. Hence, heat insulation materials not only need to block the cold but also create a comfortable thermal room climate. There are specific physical properties which have a positive effect on heat protection. Heat insulation materials need to possess a relatively high mass combined with a structure which allows storage of as much heat as possible for as long as possible. These properties make sure that the heat does not come directly inside but instead is stored in the roof and walls during the day from where it is dispersed during the night.

Compared to other heat insulating materials, PAVATEX can score with some considerable advantages. If for example, an attic with conventional heat insulation heats up to an unpleasant 27° C during a nice and hot summer day, the same room insulated with wood fiber insulants only heats up to 23° C.

Within this context, PAVATEX heat insulation has more than just one ecological advantage. For one it is made of renewable raw materials and it may make the installation of air conditioners redundant.
