Roof restoration with PAVATEX system solutions

The listed Château d‘Allaman near Lausanne is one of the oldest castles on Lake Geneva. It is currently being restored and converted into luxury residences. A high-performance PAVATEX system solution, comprising flexible PAVAFLEX wood fibre insulating material, an LDB 0.02 airtight layer and ISOLAIR/ISOROOF rigid underlays, was implemented in order to satisfy stringent physical and ecological demands. With its permeable structure, the system not only provides perfect protection for the ancient roof timbering, which dates back to the 17th century, but also makes for a comfortable and pleasant living environment in the former knights‘ castle.
