FIRE PROTECTION
PAVATEX stays cooler in the case of fire
There is an especially high demand for shelter and security when it comes to fire and the hazards related to it. PAVATEX wood fiber insulating materials also fulfill the high legal requirements.
In the case of fire, an ash layer is produced on the surface of the wood fiber insulating material of the building element which inhibits oxygen supply and thus a fire from spreading rapidly. No toxic smoke gases are released. A very good level of fire resistance is therefore achieved with the use of PAVATEX products. A fire resistance class of up to F90 can be achieved for roofs, walls, floors and ceilings.
Because of the retarded heating of the wood fiber boards, the speedy ignition of other layers is delayed when compared to mineral fiber insulating materials.
